“Welcome back, Upper East Siders! Gossip Girl here. That’s right ladies and gentlemen, I’m back! Did you miss me? We have a lot to debrief. While my original predecessor (long live the OG) is sadly too old for these shenanigans, Lonely Boy Dan Humphrey has left an empty throne. And now, in the year 2050, I have chosen to fill it. I’m so happy that all of our favorites from back in the day decided to get all nostalgic and send their kids to their alma mater, Constance and St Jude’s. You know what that means, Upper East Siders? All of our beautiful troublemakers have served up their scandalous children on a silver platter… for me, of course! Oh, we are going to have so. much. fun. XO XO, Gossip Girl!”
This committee, set in the Upper East Side of NYC, will focus on the children of the original Gossip Girl’s characters. Gossip Girl 2.0 is causing chaos and mischief for the students of Constance and St Jude’s as our characters strive for a semi-normal life in the Upper East Side. As the children chase dreams, colleges, wealth, and romances much like their parents, Gossip Girl 2.0 will continue to intervene so that no one’s secrets are safe.
