Our Economic and Social council committees are mid-sized delegations aimed at addressing a range of specialized topics from the perspective of various international organizations. These sessions are inspired by the UN and other international bodies, offering delegates the opportunity to tackle pressing global economic and social issues.
Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND)
Established in 1946, The Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) supervises the implementation of international drug control treaties and shaping global strategies to address the world drug problem. Its mandate includes monitoring the global drug situation, proposing evidence-based policy recommendations, and determining the scheduling of narcotic and psychotropic substances under international conventions. Delegates will engage with pressing public health, security, and governance concerns as they work to strengthen prevention efforts, regulate emerging substances, and dismantle transnational drug networks.
