Born in Beijing, Ami moved to California at the age of 5 and have grown up in one of the best cities in the world—San Francisco—ever since. Ami is studying in The Wharton School and in her free time she still spends sunrise to sundown in Huntsman Hall. In the rare cases that Ami does venture outside of Huntsman, she loves having loud and carefree conversations with her best friends and escaping from the dining halls to find new eateries in philly. Ami can’t wait to welcome you to her new home during UPMUNC 51!

Born and raised in Hermosa Beach, California, Beau Staso is a freshman planning on studying Business Economics and Public Policy (BEPP) and International Relations. When not working to make UPMUNC LI the best one yet, he spends most of his time at Detachment 750 as an Air Force ROTC Cadet or working at the Wharton Behavioral Lab. He also spends an unhealthy amount of time taking quizzes on which Game of Thrones character he would be and wishing he was back home on the beach.
Coming to Penn from the boring Boston suburb of Franklin, MA, it's clear that Ben Franklin has played an integral role in this ASG's life. A freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences, Chris plans to study economics and something else (Physics? Math? Who knows? He's a mess). He didn't know what Model UN was until stepping on campus a few months ago, but he's greatly enjoyed the work planning UPMUNC 51. When he's not planning conference, you can find him watching House of Cards, playing piano, or making fun of people who think fall weather is cold. He's so excited to meet you all at conference!
David hails from the small city of San Francisco, California, and is still adjusting (poorly) to the life in Pennsylvania. Aside from the beach and food, he sincerely misses the sun and good vibes. Outside of the IAA and dying in Van Pelt, David is heavily involved with Penn International Impact Consulting, the Daily Pennsylvanian, and Penn Water Polo. He very much enjoys William Cafe's selection of fares and crying in the club. He is currently majoring in Economics with a minor in German within the College of Arts and Sciences. He finds MUN to be truly fun.
Gowtham Balaji hails from East Brunswick, New Jersey but is really from Gotham, and is a freshman studying finance and management in the Wharton School. When he’s not fighting off the Joker and Ra’s Al Ghul, you can find Gowtham playing basketball, chilling ;) with Netflix, and finding the best Halal cart near you. Furthermore, his favorite hobbies include watching fake news and calling KD a snake on every Facebook post. Involved with MUN since his freshman year of high school, Gowtham can’t wait to be ASG of UPMUNC this year!
Born and raised in Cali (not California though, Cali, Colombia), Isabella is an undecided freshmen in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is obsessed with dogs - especially her two miniature dogs -, loves cooking, and is exceptionally good at cutting off a T.V. show midseason. When Isabella is not in a rush, she enjoys being around her friends/family and just having a good laugh/talk. She is really energetic and up to trying new things, which is why she joined UPMUNC and is loving it so far!
Originally born in Sydney Australia but lived a majority of her life in Los Angeles, CA, Jourdan thought it would be a difficult transition to the likes of Philadelphia. However Upenn and ultimately UPMUNC has made the move quite an amazing one. Jourdan is a current freshman in the Wharton School and when she’s not hitting the books she loves to try new food places, go to the gym and find interesting things to do with her friends. She loves to surf and play soccer or really do any physical activity in nature. She looks forward to her first year in UPMUNC and can’t wait for her first conference!

Morgan Taylor is from Darien CT, but most people don't know where that is, so she just says she lives really close to NYC. She is a freshman in the college, planning on majoring in Biological Basis of Behavior and minoring in healthcare management. I know, she says, where is the international relations part. During her free time, Morgan loves rewatching Grey's Anatomy and Friday Night Lights, and she enjoys finding new documentaries on Netflix. She is so excited to participate in her first UPMUNC and can't wait to help make it one of the best ones yet!
Born and raised right outside of New York in the charming town of Rye, Nikki is half Hungarian and half only-Ancestry.com-knows, and currently lives in San Francisco. Nikki is never in one place at one time, having been to 37 countries, and commuting between Hungary, New York, San Fran, and Penn, she is always jet-lagged. A freshman in the College, she hopes to pursue both International Relations and Eastern European Studies and to continue learning languages (she is currently studying her fourth). When Nikki's not sleeping or eating unhealthy amounts of goulash, she enjoys playing tennis, skiing, and scuba diving.
Rachel was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, but lived for eight years at Taipei, Taiwan before coming to Penn. She is never sure about how to introduce herself, as she is Korean but is technically “from” Taiwan. Nevertheless, she is a freshman at the College of Arts and Sciences, and her current interests include making/appreciating any form of arts, (trying to) dance, and figuring out her go-to Wawa order. She hopes to have some fun time at UPMUNC 51!
